BAND BIO
TRICKSHOT was born in 2002 for the soul purpose of musical
expression and creativity amongst seven hobbyists with a need to
release the daily grind through the power of music. With musical
influences ranging from Blues, Jazz, Classic Rock, Funk, Metal, Pop
and a bit of everything else, TRICKSHOT has a unique sound that'll rock
your socks off! Artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The
Beatles, Howling Wolf, Muddy Waters, Beth Hart, Susan Tedeschi and
Etta James have heavily influenced this band.
TRICKSHOT's home base is Denver, Colorado. We've had the pleasure
of opening for a fantastic blues legend, Mr. Leon Russell and also
enjoyed opening for local DJ's Lewis and Floorwax from The Fox 103.5
with their band The Groovehawgs to packed houses at The Buffalo
Rose in Golden, Colorado. We tend to play local venues in the Denver
metro area but have travelled as far as Meeker to play a July 4th gig.
We incorporate a mix of originals and covers in a 4 hour bar set, but
can also bang out a powerful one hour opening set for national acts.
